What’s Included at Gather Well Retreats
Gather Well retreats are meant to be an immersive experience that begins well before you arrive onsite. Every retreat includes two individual preparation sessions, one group preparation session, onsite meals and lodging, a full group ceremony, two individual integration sessions, and one group integration session.

Individual Preparation Sessions: These support you in understanding the experience to come, get questions answered, address concerns, engage in clarifying consent and boundaries, set an intention, and feeling resourced and prepared for the retreat. The coach will be one of the lead guides or seasoned assistants. You will be required to have 2 preparatory sessions.

Group Preparation Session: Led by lead ceremonial guides, this session covers some logistics, what to expect during the retreat weekend, and offers an opportunity to meet the group and begin building connections.

Individual Integration Sessions: These help you process your experience and translate insights into your daily life. We will support you in scheduling these sessions before the retreat so they are already in place. You will be required to have 2 Integration sessions with the same coach that helped you prepare.

Group Integration Session: Led by ceremonial lead guides, this space allows for shared reflection, being witnessed by peers, and nurturing the sense of community developed during the retreat.

Our Approach to Care: How We Meet You Where You Are

At Gather Well, our approach to care is grounded in relationship, presence, and deep attention. Every aspect of our retreats is designed to meet you in your experience and to hold a space where healing, insight, and transformation can unfold as safely and fully as possible.

    Healing in relationship

We believe healing doesn’t happen alone. It unfolds in connection with yourself, with others, and within the shared container around the work. Here, you are witnessed, supported, and allowed to be changed by the experiences of others, contributing to the collective growth of the group.

    Listening to the body

Your body holds wisdom, and we invite you to notice, feel, and work with it. Through somatic awareness, you can access insight, regulate your nervous system, and integrate your experiences more fully.

    Understanding trauma with care

We honor the ways trauma can shape your experience, relationships, and sense of self. Our work is sensitive to how trauma is held in the body and mind, and how it can ripple through families and communities. You are met with understanding, and supported in discerning what is appropriate for you.

    Including the larger cultural reality

Your wellbeing is influenced by the culture and systems around you. We uplift the importance of creating spaces where healing doesn’t ask you to carry burdens that are not yours alone, that are collective and systemic.

    Spiritually informed, non-dogmatic guidance

We meet the spiritual dimension of your experience with care and respect. The ceremonial experience may evoke for you a connection to spirit, ancestry, or a sense of wonder, and we honor that without prescribing belief or dogma. This is a space to explore what is meaningful to you.

    Engaging Indigenous-informed approaches

We draw on Indigenous-informed ways of healing with care, respect, and permission. You can feel assured that when specific practices are shared, it is done so ethically, in a way that honors their origins, uplifts their wisdom, and invites you to learn from them without misappropriation.

    Clear roles, consent, and support

At every step you will be informed of what to expect and asked what you agree to. We will only proceed at each step if we have alignment and agreement between us. Boundaries and consent are tended intentionally and explicitly. Your preparation and integration, before and after the retreat are treated as essential, not optional. You are held in such a way to promote safety, ethical care, and a meaningful experience.

All retreats are provided within legal frameworks.

Any engagement with psychedelics are conducted in a jurisdiction and/or a regulatory context in which it is legal to do so and in compliance with regulation in that jurisdiction.
