GatherWell prepares people to become psychedelic guides through a committed, immersive pathway built on relationship, practice, and ethics. We are culturally attuned, drawing from diverse backgrounds and lineages, and we help create the conditions for you to become more fully who you are as a guide.

This is closer to a graduate-level education in psychedelic guiding, structured as an apprenticeship and grounded in classroom learning, real practice, ceremony, and ongoing evaluation. It’s the long way, on purpose.

Gather Seeds is free, short-form learning for anyone drawn toward psychedelic healing and personal growth. Gather More is an ongoing membership for those exploring the path more deeply. The Gather Well Psychedelic Guide Program is our committed apprenticeship for those ready to become guides.

What is GatherWell?

GatherWell is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) offering psychedelic education, from free short-form learning to the GatherWell Psychedelic Guide Program, a committed 2.5 to 3 year apprenticeship pathway for becoming a psychedelic guide.

How long is the GatherWell Psychedelic Guide Program?

2.5 to 3 years, across three phases of one continuous arc: Groundwork Theory, Groundwork Practice, and the Apprenticeship. It’s the long way, on purpose. 

How do I become a psychedelic guide?

Through education, supervised practice, mentorship, and completion of our program. Applications to the GatherWell Psychedelic Guide Program open through the waitlist, and Gather Seeds is a free place to begin.

Does GatherWell provide psychedelic substances?

No. GatherWell is an educational organization. All activities involving psilocybin mushrooms take place in jurisdictions in which they are legal or in legal regulatory frameworks.
